A small wooded slope beside a family property, intended as a single guest cabin.

- Dense pine cover; limited clearings.
- Slope falls away from the road.
- No neighbours within sight.

Important decisions
- Place the cabin in the one natural clearing rather than fell for a bigger one.
- Orient the ridge parallel to the slope so the gable faces the trees.
